The MingD MD-450SG combines straight-edge and 45° bevel-edge processing in one automatic machine. Dual-motor pre-milling, separate gluing and pressing units, V-grooving and four-motor corner rounding support a complete edge-finishing workflow.

A 21-inch high-definition touch screen provides a clear, responsive interface for machine operation and setting adjustments.

Dual-Motor Pre-Milling

Two 2.2 kW motors run at 12,000 rpm. Counter-rotating diamond cutters remove edge burrs and help reduce chipping before gluing.

45° Bevel Cutting

The layered saw-blade unit cuts a 45° bevel while retaining a 3-5 mm straight edge for the subsequent banding process.

Straight and Bevel Gluing

Two 0.75 kW motors support gluing for straight and bevel edges. The 1.5 L glue reservoir has a glue-drain function, while a 0.8 mm mesh-pattern roller promotes even application. EVA or PUR adhesive can be used as specified for the gluing system.

Straight and Bevel Pressing

The pressing unit bonds the edge band to the panel and forms the band around the 45° bevel.

V-Grooving for Edge Banding

A 0.55 kW motor drives a horizontal V-groove in the edge band, helping it fold properly during the pressing stage.

Edge-Band Heating Lamp

The heating lamp softens the edge band before pressing to support firm adhesion around the profile.

Straight and Bevel Trimming

Four 0.75 kW motors at 12,000 rpm trim excess edge band and shape the finished edge. Tool specifications: 56 x 16 x H14 x 6Z and 69 x 16 x H13 x 6Z x R2.

Front and Rear End Trimming

Two 0.37 kW motors at 12,000 rpm cut excess band at the leading and trailing ends. The unit uses quick pressure relief and dual air circuits. Saw specification: 104 x 22 x 30T.

Four-Motor Corner Rounding

Four 0.37 kW motors at 12,000 rpm follow the panel profile to round its four end corners. The steel tracking structure supports stable operation. Tool specification: 70 x 16 x H16 x 6Z x R2.5.

Straight and Bevel Scraping

Carbide scrapers remove fine trimming marks from the banded edge for a smoother finish. Tool specification: 20 x 12 x R2.

Straight and Bevel Polishing

Four 0.37 kW motors run polishing wheels at 2,840 rpm to smooth and finish straight and bevel banded edges.

Electric Pressure-Beam Adjustment

The 25 cm aluminum-alloy pressure beam adjusts electrically through the touch screen. A 0.37 kW lifting motor supports consistent panel hold-down.

High-Torque Conveyor

A 5.5 kW conveyor motor provides stable, smooth panel feeding through the processing units.
