My Early Days in the Woodworking Machinery Industry

When I first graduated, I was just like most young people, going through a confused period. I had no clear plan for my future career. However, one thing I was certain about was that China’s real estate industry was booming at that time. It greatly boosted the national economy, including the furniture and advertising industries. During a casual job interview by coincidence, I realized that advertising signs had to be processed by professional machinery. At that time, we called them CNC routers, CNC carving machines, or CNC engraving machines. These machines required professional supporting software to operate.

This idea suddenly inspired me. It perfectly matched my college major in computer programming. I firmly believed this would be the lifelong career path for me. Therefore, I started my career as a technical staff member. I had an exceptional natural talent for understanding both machine software and hardware, which quickly made me a core technical team member. I worked in the technical department for two years. During this period, I found that both the advertising and furniture industries shared the same processing demand: engraving. This process placed high requirements on designers. Designers needed to be proficient in operating professional software and possess creative inspiration to produce exquisite engraved works.
